▽ Project Overview
We were commissioned by Twiid Inc. to design the app and landing page for YOSONOKOTO, a service created for people who live with cats.
The app was inspired by a simple question familiar to many cat owners: “How do other people live with their cats?” It provides a space where users can share their everyday experiences, thoughts and questions about life with cats.
nnw studio was responsible for the app design as well as the design and development of the landing page, creating a consistent visual experience across both platforms.
▽ The Challenge
As a service centred around the everyday lives of cats and their owners, the design needed to feel friendly and approachable while remaining intuitive and easy to use.
For the app, it was particularly important to organise the various features and information clearly so that users could navigate naturally without feeling overwhelmed.
The landing page also needed to communicate the concept and appeal of a new service quickly, helping first-time visitors understand what YOSONOKOTO is and encouraging them to try the app.
▽ Our Approach
For the app, we focused on creating a simple and intuitive interface that makes sharing and exploring other cat owners’ experiences feel effortless.
The visual direction combines soft colours, clear layouts and friendly design elements to reflect the warmth of everyday life with cats while keeping usability at the centre of the experience.
The landing page follows the same visual language as the app, creating a consistent identity from the first introduction to the actual product experience.
▽ Design Highlights
Soft, comforting colours and generous spacing were used throughout the landing page to convey the friendly and relaxed character of YOSONOKOTO.
For the app interface, information hierarchy and navigation were carefully considered to make key features easy to understand and use. Rather than adding unnecessary visual complexity, we kept the interface clean and approachable, allowing the content shared by users to remain the focus.
By maintaining consistency between the app and landing page, we created a cohesive digital experience that balances warmth, personality and functionality.
